Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""Joshua's Long Day And The Dial Of Ahaz: A Scientific Vindication And A Midnight Cry"" is a book written by Charles Adiel Lewis Totten in 1890. The book focuses on the biblical story of Joshua's long day, where the sun stood still for an entire day, and the mysterious dial of Ahaz mentioned in the book of Isaiah. Totten presents a scientific vindication of these events, arguing that they were not merely supernatural miracles but were actually caused by natural phenomena. He also argues that these events have prophetic significance and that they are a warning of impending judgment. The book is a fascinating exploration of biblical prophecy, scientific inquiry, and the intersection of faith and reason. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
