Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Three Of Us: A Play In Four Acts is a play written by Rachel Crothers and first published in 1916. The play is set in a New York City apartment and follows the lives of three women: Mrs. Armstrong, a wealthy widow; her daughter, Barbara; and their maid, Emma. The play explores the complex relationships between the three women, as well as issues of class, gender, and identity. Throughout the play, the characters struggle to come to terms with their own desires and expectations, and the play ultimately asks whether it is possible for people from different backgrounds to truly understand and connect with one another. With its nuanced portrayal of women's lives and its exploration of social issues, The Three Of Us is considered a groundbreaking work of early 20th-century American drama. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
