Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""Evidences of the Christian Religion: To Which Are Added, Discourses Against Atheism and Infidelity"" is a book written by Joseph Addison and published in 1796. The book provides a detailed analysis of the evidence supporting the Christian religion, including arguments for the existence of God, the authenticity of the Bible, and the historical accuracy of the events described in the New Testament. In addition to presenting evidence for Christianity, Addison also addresses common objections to the faith, such as the problem of evil and the apparent contradictions in the Bible. He also includes a series of discourses aimed at refuting atheism and infidelity, arguing that belief in God is not only rational but necessary for a fulfilling and meaningful life. Overall, ""Evidences of the Christian Religion"" is a comprehensive defense of Christianity that seeks to provide readers with the tools they need to defend their faith in the face of skepticism and doubt. It remains a valuable resource for Christians seeking to deepen their understanding of the faith and engage with non-believers in a thoughtful and respectful manner. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
