Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Gay's Chair: Poems Never Before Printed is a collection of previously unpublished poems by the English poet and playwright John Gay, first published in 1820. The poems cover a range of topics, from love and friendship to social commentary and satire. Some of the poems are written in Gay's characteristic light and humorous style, while others are more serious and reflective. The title of the collection refers to the chair in which Gay is said to have sat while writing many of his works. The book provides readers with a fascinating glimpse into the mind of one of the most important literary figures of the 18th century, and is a must-read for fans of Gay's work and lovers of English poetry. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
