Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Hegel's Philosophy of the State and of History: An Exposition is a book written by Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel and originally published in 1902. The book is a comprehensive study of Hegel's philosophy of the state and history, which is a central theme in his philosophical works. In this book, Hegel explores the concept of the state as a rational and ethical entity that is necessary for the realization of human freedom and the development of human society. He argues that the state is the highest expression of human will and reason, and that it is the duty of individuals to submit to the authority of the state in order to achieve a harmonious and just society. Hegel also discusses his philosophy of history, which posits that history is a progressive process of the development of human consciousness and freedom. He argues that history is driven by the dialectical process of thesis, antithesis, and synthesis, and that the ultimate goal of history is the realization of human freedom and the reconciliation of contradictions. Overall, Hegel's Philosophy of the State and of History: An Exposition is a seminal work in the field of political philosophy and a must-read for anyone interested in understanding Hegel's complex and influential philosophical ideas. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
