Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Letters On The Gold-Silver Question From The China Stand Point is a book written by W. S. Wetmore in 1893. The book is a collection of letters that were written by the author while he was living in China, and they discuss the issue of the gold-silver standard. The letters provide insight into the economic situation in China at the time and how the gold-silver standard was affecting the country. Wetmore argues that China, being a silver-producing country, would benefit from a silver standard, and that the adoption of a gold standard would have a negative impact on the country's economy. The book is a valuable resource for those interested in the history of monetary policy and the economic situation in China during the late 19th century. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
