Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

My Picture-Book is a children's book published by the American Tract Society in 1860. The book is a collection of colorful illustrations that depict various scenes from everyday life, including children playing, animals in nature, and people working. Each picture is accompanied by a short description or poem that teaches moral lessons and values, such as kindness, honesty, and hard work. The book is designed to be engaging and educational for young readers, and it aims to instill positive character traits in its audience. The American Tract Society, a Christian publishing organization, produced many similar books throughout the 19th century as part of its mission to promote moral and religious education. My Picture-Book is a charming example of this genre and a fascinating glimpse into the cultural and educational values of the era. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
