The Regicide's Daughter: A Tale Of Two Worlds is a historical fiction novel written by William Henry Carpenter and originally published in 1851. The story is set in the 17th century and follows the life of a young woman named Editha, who is the daughter of a regicide - someone who participated in the execution of King Charles I of England. In America, Editha struggles to fit in with the Puritan community and faces discrimination because of her family's past.
