Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""Drunkenness A Vice, Not A Disease: A Paper (1882)"" by John Edwards Todd is a historical text that explores the topic of alcoholism and addiction. The author argues that drunkenness should be viewed as a vice rather than a disease, and that individuals who struggle with alcoholism are not necessarily victims of an illness, but rather individuals who have made poor choices. Todd provides historical and cultural context to support his argument, drawing upon examples from literature, religion, and medicine to illustrate the social and moral implications of drunkenness. This text offers a unique perspective on the issue of alcoholism, and provides insight into the historical attitudes towards addiction and substance abuse. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
