Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Freemen Or Slaves is a book written by Ellen A. Bennett and published in 1888. The book explores the issue of slavery and freedom in the United States, particularly focusing on the experiences of African Americans. Bennett argues that despite the abolition of slavery, African Americans still faced significant barriers to achieving true freedom and equality. She discusses the ways in which they were discriminated against in areas such as education, employment, and voting rights. Bennett also critiques the attitudes of white Americans towards African Americans, arguing that they often perpetuated racist beliefs and practices. Throughout the book, Bennett makes a passionate case for the need to continue fighting for the rights of African Americans and for the realization of true freedom and equality for all. Freemen Or Slaves is an important historical document that sheds light on the ongoing struggle for civil rights in the United States. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
