Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""Letter To John Murray, Touching Lord Nugent: In Reply To A Letter From His Lordship, Touching An Article In The Quarterly Review (1833)"" is a book written by the famous English poet and writer, Robert Southey. The book is a response to a letter written by Lord Nugent, which was in turn a response to an article in the Quarterly Review. The article had criticized Nugent's book on the French Revolution, and Nugent had written to Murray, the publisher, to defend himself. Southey's letter defends the article and criticizes Nugent's book, arguing that it is biased and inaccurate. The book is a fascinating insight into the literary and political debates of the time, and Southey's arguments are both eloquent and persuasive. It is a must-read for anyone interested in the history of literature and politics in early 19th century England. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
