""Memphis And Mycenae: An Examination Of Egyptian Chronology And Its Application To The Early History Of Greece"" is a book written by Cecil Torr and published in 1896. The book is a detailed examination of the chronology of ancient Egypt and its impact on the early history of Greece. Torr argues that the traditional dating of events in ancient Greece is flawed and that a better understanding of Egyptian chronology can help to shed light on the true timeline of Greek history. The book covers a range of topics, including the reigns of Egyptian pharaohs, the dating of the Trojan War, and the connections between Mycenaean Greece and ancient Egypt. The author draws on a wide range of sources, including archaeological evidence and ancient texts, to support his arguments. ""Memphis And Mycenae"" is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of ancient Greece and the role of Egypt in shaping its early development. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
