Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""Plea For Mercy To Animals"" is a book written by James Macaulay in 1875. The book advocates for the humane treatment of animals and argues against the cruel and inhumane practices that were common during that time. Macaulay makes a strong case for the ethical treatment of animals, arguing that they are capable of feeling pain and suffering, and therefore deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. He also highlights the benefits of treating animals humanely, both for the animals themselves and for society as a whole. Throughout the book, Macaulay provides examples of the mistreatment of animals, such as in the use of animals for entertainment, scientific experimentation, and as food sources. He also offers practical suggestions for how individuals and society as a whole can work towards improving the treatment of animals. Overall, ""Plea For Mercy To Animals"" is a passionate and compelling call to action for the ethical treatment of animals that remains relevant today. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
