""Rather At Sea"" is a humorous novel written by Francis Cowley Burnand and first published in 1890. The story follows the misadventures of a young man named Jack Coplestone, who finds himself in a series of comical situations while on a sailing trip in the English Channel. Jack is accompanied by his friend Bob, a fellow sailor, and the two of them encounter a variety of eccentric characters along the way, including a group of French fishermen, a wealthy American couple, and a mysterious woman who Jack becomes infatuated with. As the voyage progresses, Jack's inexperience and misjudgments lead to a number of mishaps and misunderstandings, but his good-natured charm and quick wit help him navigate the challenges of life at sea. ""Rather At Sea"" is a lighthearted and entertaining novel that captures the spirit of adventure and humor that was popular in late 19th-century English literature. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
