Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""Some Experiences In Hungary: August 1914 To January 1915"" is a memoir written by Mina MacDonald, originally published in 1916. The book details MacDonald's experiences during her time in Hungary from August 1914 to January 1915, a period that coincided with the outbreak of World War I. MacDonald was a British woman who had traveled to Hungary to work as a governess for a Hungarian family. Her memoir provides a firsthand account of life in Hungary during the early months of the war, including the impact of the conflict on daily life, the attitudes of the Hungarian people towards the war, and the challenges faced by foreigners living in the country during this time. MacDonald's memoir is a valuable historical document that offers insights into the experiences of ordinary people during a tumultuous period in European history. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
