The Frescoed Chamber is a book written by Hely Hutchinson A. Smith in 1878. The book explores the connection between the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, revealing how the Old Testament foreshadows events and themes that are fulfilled in the New Testament. Smith uses the metaphor of a frescoed chamber to illustrate how the two Testaments are intertwined and how the New Testament is concealed within the Old Testament. The book is a scholarly work that draws on a range of sources, including biblical texts, historical and cultural contexts, and theological interpretations. It is a comprehensive study of the Bible that sheds light on the relationship between the Old and New Testaments and the overarching themes of redemption and salvation.
