Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""The Light of Prophecy Let In on the Dark Places of the Papacy"" is a book written by Alexander Hislop in 1846. It is an exposition of the biblical passage Second Thessalonians 2:3-12, which discusses the ""man of sin"" and the ""mystery of iniquity"" that will come before the second coming of Christ. Hislop argues that the passage refers to the papacy and the corrupt practices of the Roman Catholic Church. He provides historical evidence and references to support his claims, delving into the origins of Catholic practices such as the veneration of saints and the use of the cross. Hislop's work is controversial and has been criticized for its anti-Catholic bias, but it remains a significant work in the history of Protestant-Catholic relations. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
