Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Peddler of Dust Sticks is a children's book written by Eliza Lee Cabot Follen and originally published in 1855. The story follows a peddler who travels from town to town selling dust sticks, which are essentially small brooms used for sweeping. Along the way, he meets various characters who are in need of his help, including a poor family who cannot afford a dust stick and a group of children who have lost their ball in a tree. Through his kindness and generosity, the peddler teaches important lessons about compassion, gratitude, and the value of hard work. The book is illustrated with charming black and white drawings and is a classic example of 19th-century children's literature. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
