Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Perpetual Government of Christ's Church, written by Thomas Bilson in 1842, is a detailed analysis of the structure and governance of the Christian Church. The book explores the origins of the Church and its development over time, examining the role of bishops, priests, and deacons in its organization. Bilson argues that the Church's authority is derived from Christ himself, and that its leadership should be based on a hierarchical structure that reflects this divine authority. He also discusses the importance of scripture and tradition in the Church's teachings, and the need for unity and discipline among its members. The book is a comprehensive study of the Church's governance, and is an important resource for scholars and theologians interested in the history of Christianity. With A Biographical Notice. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
