Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Practices Of The Early Christians Considered is a book written by Henry Grew and published in 1838. The book explores the practices of the early Christians and compares them to the practices of the contemporary Christian church. Grew argues that the early Christians had a simpler and purer form of worship that was more in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ. He examines various aspects of early Christian practice, such as baptism, the Lord's Supper, and the role of women in the church. The book also discusses the influence of Greek philosophy on the development of Christian theology and the ways in which this impacted the practices of the church. Grew's work is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of Christianity and the development of Christian practices over time. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
