Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Ruin and Recovery of Mankind, written by Isaac Watts in 1740, is an attempt to defend the biblical account of humanity's fall and redemption using logical reasoning. The book delves into the concept of original sin and how it has affected human nature, as well as the means of salvation through Jesus Christ. Watts argues that the Bible's teachings on these topics are not only consistent with reason but also necessary for understanding the human condition. The Ruin and Recovery of Mankind is a thought-provoking work that challenges readers to consider the deeper implications of biblical theology. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
