Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Tract On Government is a political treatise written by James Murdock Walker in 1853. The book explores the principles of government and the role of the state in society. Walker argues that the purpose of government is to protect the natural rights of individuals, including life, liberty, and property. He also discusses the importance of limited government and the need for checks and balances to prevent the abuse of power. The book is divided into three sections, each focusing on a different aspect of government: the nature of government, the principles of government, and the organization of government. Throughout the book, Walker draws on the works of political philosophers such as John Locke and Montesquieu to support his arguments. Tract On Government is an important work in the history of political thought and remains relevant today as a discussion of the proper role of government in society. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
