Step back into the days of togas, treachery, and top-shelf tomfoolery with this riotous recreation of a golden age radio comedy, where history takes a hilariously hard left!Julius Caesar has a date with destiny-if he can survive the week. Colitus Ventriculitis, Caesar's most loyal advisor, trusted slave, and unofficial damage control specialist, is desperately juggling plots, passions, and portents in a Rome where everyone has a dagger and a hidden agenda.Brutus and Cassius are sharpening their knives and their punchlines, Cleopatra is busy bewitching Mark Antony with more than just her eyeliner, and Calpurnia-Caesar's no-nonsense wife-has had enough of Egyptian drama and is ready to stage a coup of her own.Can Colitus keep Caesar alive long enough to win his freedom? Or will Rome's most infamous betrayal go off without a hitch and without a laugh? With snappy dialogue, zany intrigue, and more scheming than a Senate meeting, "Caesar & Cleo" is script in hand, madcap march through ancient history with all the fizz and flair of classic radio comedy. Cue the applause sign-this empire's about to fall, but it'll do so laughing!
