Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Book 11 of the Leafy Tom Series. When Ormond finds an emerald, it looks like a fun family vacation to Nova Scotia to deliver it. That is, until they are attacked by an unseen assailant. The attacks continue and accelerate, with many different witch types. Is it one witch attacking them? Or three? What started as a family trip grows as Anikka calls witches with necessary skills to join them. By the time they complete this mission, the entire team will be involved, including witches that never worked with the team before. The witches will face a dizzying array of spells, and a witch that seems nearly immune to the spells of a large team of strong witches. While they are trying to deal with the new enemy, old enemies turn up and interrupt the mission. Will Ormond deliver the emerald to the proper owner? Or will he have to face severe penalties for failure? Phoebe tries to take comfort in the knowledge that no witch has ever failed to deliver an emerald on time, but she just keeps finding that dark cloud around the silver lining.
