Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The hobby of historical shooting helps us explore the past in a different way, by collecting and shooting antique or reproduction firearms in a manner as close as possible to the way they were used in their days of glory. In this book the author explores the history and use of the Snider-Enfield rifle. It covers the history, maintenance, ballistics, ammunition, equipment, and firing of the rifle, working extensively from period manuals and books, so that a modern collector can learn to use the rifle as it was used in the nineteenth century.
