Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Most children understand more than their elders about climate change and its detrimental impacts. They empathize with the struggles of wildlife affected by humanity's irresponsible behaviours. What might the animals and birds discuss as pollution, litter, and habitat destruction increasingly threaten their happy, safe existence? This imaginative play explores those conversations. It follows a fearful fox, a funky fish named Matilda, a seagull called Syd, Roger Rabbit, Harry the hedgehog, Lucy the lark and many worried ocean creatures. As Matilda's underwater home changes for the worse, the surface-dwellers also face a changing world. These talking creatures voice pressing worries - what thoughtless things will humans do next? Yet the playful form makes their message uplifting. Perfect for primary schools, scouts, church groups, young actors or aware kids who want to create their own production and gently teach grownups about protecting the planet. Whimsical yet wise, this play blends fun, drama, and vital lessons about conscience. It calls on our empathy to consider how actions harm the voiceless. Will the audiences who watch such creative young stewards be inspired themselves to safeguard the Earth? Perhaps through opening hearts and minds, young performers sow seeds of hope.
