Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Umbo is no ordinary chimpanzee puppet. He is big and beautiful with a happy smile and full of life. Caroline is an enterprising grandma with a special talent for ventriloquism. She is a Welsh learner, but has a problem: she has to give a talk in Welsh to her Welsh class. She needs help, but who can help her? She thinks Umbo is just the inspiration and support she needs, so decides to take him to class. Will Umbo be up to the task, will Caroline's talk go well, and what will her classmates think of Umbo? Umbo goes to Welsh Class is a charming, heart-warming tale with beautiful illustrations which will delight any young child. After all - who could resist Umbo? This is a true story - well, almost - with only a light touch of make believe. Caroline does live in Wales with Umbo, Bird and Dave, and she did take Umbo to Welsh class!
