Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""Personal Reminiscences by Barham, Harness and Hodder"" is a book written by Richard Henry Stoddard that provides a collection of personal anecdotes and memories of three prominent figures in English literature: Richard Harris Barham, William Harness, and John Hodder. Barham was a humorist and poet, best known for his work in the ""Ingoldsby Legends""; Harness was a scholar and critic, known for his work on Shakespeare and Greek literature; and Hodder was a journalist and editor, who worked for the ""Morning Chronicle"" and the ""Daily News"". Stoddard, a poet and literary critic himself, knew all three men personally and provides an intimate look at their lives and personalities through his reminiscences. The book is a fascinating glimpse into the literary world of the 19th century, and a tribute to three men who made significant contributions to it.1875. From the Bric-a-Brac Series.
