Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Tender Buttons is a collection of prose poetry written by Gertrude Stein and published in 1914. The book is divided into three sections: Objects, Food, and Rooms. Each section contains a series of short, seemingly nonsensical descriptions of everyday objects, foods, and rooms. Stein's writing style is experimental and often repetitive, with a focus on the sounds and rhythms of words rather than their meanings. The book has been praised for its innovative use of language and its influence on modernist literature. However, it has also been criticized for its lack of coherence and accessibility. Overall, Tender Buttons is a challenging and thought-provoking work that continues to fascinate readers and scholars alike.Out of kindness comes redness and out of rudeness comes rapid same question, out of an eye comes research, out of selection comes painful cattle. So then the order is that a white way of being round is something suggesting a pin and is it disappointing, it is not, it is so rudimentary to be analysed and see a fine substance strangely, it is so earnest to have a green point not to red but to point again. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
