Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Bedford Row Conspiracy is a novel written by the famous British author, William Makepeace Thackeray. The story is set in London during the early 19th century and revolves around a group of lawyers who are involved in a conspiracy to defraud their clients. The main character of the story is Philip Firmin, a young lawyer who becomes embroiled in the conspiracy when he is asked to help a friend who is in trouble. As he delves deeper into the conspiracy, he discovers that his own father is involved and must decide whether to protect his family or do what is right. The novel is a satirical commentary on the legal profession and the corruption that can be found within it. Thackeray's sharp wit and keen observations of human nature make this a compelling read that is both entertaining and thought-provoking. The Bedford Row Conspiracy is a classic work of English literature that continues to be relevant today.""What a howwid thmell of whithkey!"" lisped Cornet Fitch, of the Dragoons, to Miss Lucy, confidentially.
