Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Bicyclers and Three Other Farces is a collection of four comedic plays written by American author John Kendrick Bangs. The first play, The Bicyclers, is a humorous portrayal of a group of cyclists on a weekend outing. The second play, A Proposal Under Difficulties, follows the misadventures of a young man attempting to propose to his girlfriend. The third play, The Water Ghost of Harrowby Hall, is a ghost story parody that pokes fun at the traditional haunted house tale. Finally, The Fatal Message is a satirical take on the popular detective genre. Each play is filled with witty dialogue, slapstick humor, and absurd situations that are sure to entertain readers. The Bicyclers and Three Other Farces is a delightful read for anyone who enjoys lighthearted comedy and clever wordplay.Perkins (doubtfully). He learned up at the Academy, and he told me that he spent most of his time making dents in the floor with his head. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
