Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Life of Timon of Athens is a play written by William Shakespeare that tells the story of Timon, a wealthy and generous Athenian who gives away all of his wealth to his friends and acquaintances. However, when he falls on hard times and asks for help, he is abandoned by those same friends and left to live in poverty. Timon becomes bitter and disillusioned with humanity, living alone in the wilderness and cursing those who have wronged him. The play explores themes of wealth, friendship, and betrayal, and is often considered one of Shakespeare's more cynical works.Poet. I that's well knowne: But what particular Rarity?
