Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""The Princess"" is a narrative poem written by Alfred Lord Tennyson. The story follows a group of young women attending a university founded by a princess who advocates for women's education. The princess's father, a king, disagrees with her views and insists that she marry a prince. However, the princess refuses to marry and instead dedicates herself to educating women. The story explores themes of gender roles, education, and love. Tennyson's poetic style is characterized by its romanticism and lyricism, making ""The Princess"" a classic work of Victorian literature.A prince I was, blue-eyed, and fair in face, Of temper amorous, as the first of May, With lengths of yellow ringlet, like a girl, For on my cradle shone the Northern star. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
