Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""The Witness of the Psalms to Christ and Christianity"" is a book written by William Alexander that explores the relationship between the Psalms and the Christian faith. Alexander argues that the Psalms, which were written by ancient Hebrew poets, contain prophetic messages about the coming of Jesus Christ and the establishment of Christianity. He examines specific Psalms and identifies themes and motifs that point to Christ, such as the suffering servant, the messiah, and the conqueror of death. Alexander also discusses the ways in which Christians have used the Psalms throughout history, including in worship, prayer, and meditation. Overall, ""The Witness of the Psalms to Christ and Christianity"" offers a thoughtful and insightful analysis of the role of the Psalms in the Christian faith. The Bampton Lectures, 1876, Covering Predictive Element In Prophecy, Messianic Predictions, Psalm 22, Psalter A Christian Manual, Church As City, Kingdom, Bride, Criticizes Evangelical Alliance, Psalms As Witness To Worship And To Theology.
