Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Hymn On The Morning Of Christ's Nativity is a poem written by the renowned English poet, John Milton. This poem is an ode to the birth of Jesus Christ and describes the events that took place on the morning of his nativity. The poem consists of 150 lines and is divided into 24 stanzas. Each stanza is written in the form of a hymn and praises the birth of Christ. The poem begins with the description of the night before Christ's birth, which is dark and full of despair. However, as soon as Christ is born, the world is filled with light and hope. Milton uses vivid imagery to describe the events of that morning, including the angels singing, the shepherds watching their flocks, and the wise men following the star. He also includes references to biblical characters such as Adam and Eve, who are redeemed by the birth of Christ. The poem is written in a complex and intricate style, which is typical of Milton's writing. It is a beautiful and powerful work of literature that celebrates the most significant event in Christian history. Hymn On The Morning Of Christ's Nativity is considered one of Milton's finest works and is still read and studied by scholars and enthusiasts of English literature today. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
