Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

There blooms in the South, during the hot months of summer, wild plants known as Queen Anne's lace. Queen Anne's lace resembles, in appearance, lacy white parasols. Fragile leaves sprout from its green stalks and wave a cheerful welcome in the summer breeze. It is not uncommon in the more rural areas of the South to discover an entire field of Queen Anne's lace as white as a winter snow. Come share with me the adventures of Filbert Mouse and Bobby Beetle who are fortunate enough to frolic throughout the summer under the Queen Anne's lace. Meet Mr. Spidy Spider and Mr. Henry Honeybee in the story of The Rusty Can. Delight in the antics of Mrs. June Bug and her daughter, Julia, in the story Snow in July. Attend the wedding of Miss Martha Mouse and Matthew Monroe Rat in The Wedding. Endure a cold, wet winter with Filbert, Bobby, and their friends in a dark tunnel along the bank of a creek. Permit Mrs. Beaulah Rabbit, Mr. Wylie Snake, Pastor William Grasshopper, Shadow, the cat, and numerous others to introduce themselves to you in this book of fantasy and adventure. Visit them all on the pages of Under the Queen Anne's Lace.
