TWO AUSTRALIANS IN PARIS. Eddie Pike was an undercover cop for the N.S.W. Police Force, until he was framed and given the choice of court or exile. He found another life in Manila, working in high-end 'asset' recovery. But his life was a shambles and his prospects bleak, before a pair of corporate criminals walked into his life and made him an offer. Now Eddie is in Paris, tracking down a Picasso portrait worth countless millions that has been missing for sixty years. But Eddie is not alone in the search, and the competition will kill to get its hands on the painting. He will have to break his own code and risk everything just to stay alive. Another Australian, Mitchell Jameson is also in pursuit of the Picasso. He is a post-graduate research student working as an apprentice curator at the Picasso Museum. When his employer receives a late night call from a mysterious American woman wanting per portrait valued, Mitchell is lured into the dark world of international art theft and corporate fraud. Finding the true story behind her Picasso might cost him his life.
