Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Mrs. Besant's Theosophy According To The Bishop Of Madras is a book written by Johan Van Manen. The book is a critical analysis of theosophy, a religious and philosophical movement founded by Helena Blavatsky in the late 19th century. The author examines the teachings of Annie Besant, a prominent theosophist who was also a social reformer and political activist. The book is based on a series of lectures delivered by the author in 1912, in which he discusses theosophy from a Christian perspective. He argues that theosophy is a dangerous and deceptive movement that undermines Christian beliefs and promotes a false spirituality. The book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in theosophy, comparative religion, and the history of religious movements in the modern era.An Answer To An Attack Upon Theosophy, The Theosophical Society And Some Of Its Leaders, Written And Endorsed By The Bishop Of Madras And Seven Missionaries. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
