Occultism And Common Sense is a non-fiction book written by British author and journalist, Beckles Willson. The book, first published in 1922, explores the world of occultism and attempts to demystify it for the common man. Willson presents a rational and scientific approach to the subject, debunking many of the myths and misconceptions surrounding it.The book is divided into 13 chapters, each exploring a different aspect of occultism. Willson begins by defining what he means by occultism, and then goes on to discuss topics such as the history of occultism, its relationship with religion, and the various practices associated with it. He also examines the role of intuition and psychic ability in occultism, and explores the idea of reincarnation.Throughout the book, Willson emphasizes the importance of critical thinking and common sense when approaching the subject of occultism. He argues that many of the claims made by occultists are unproven and should be treated with skepticism. However, he also acknowledges that there may be some truth to certain aspects of occultism, and encourages readers to keep an open mind.Overall, Occultism And Common Sense is a thought-provoking and informative book that offers a balanced and rational perspective on a fascinating subject.
