Missionary Travels and Researches in South Africa is a book written by David Livingstone, a Scottish explorer and missionary who spent 16 years in the interior of Africa. The book is a detailed account of Livingstone's expeditions and researches in South Africa, including his travels through the Kalahari Desert, the Zambezi River, and the Victoria Falls. In this book, Livingstone describes his encounters with various African tribes, his efforts to end the slave trade, and his observations on the geography, flora, and fauna of the region. He also provides insights into the customs and traditions of the African people, and their relationship with the natural environment. Missionary Travels and Researches in South Africa is a seminal work of African exploration and missionary work, and has been widely read and studied since its publication in 1857.
