Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

The Snow Image And Other Twice-Told Tales is a collection of short stories by Nathaniel Hawthorne, one of the most celebrated American writers of the 19th century. The book features a total of eight tales, each of which has been rewritten by Hawthorne after their initial publication. The title story, ""The Snow Image"", tells the story of two children who build a snowman that magically comes to life. However, as the snowman becomes more human-like, it also becomes more dangerous. Other stories in the collection include ""The Great Stone Face"", ""The Minister's Black Veil"", and ""The Birthmark"". Hawthorne's writing is known for its dark themes and exploration of the human condition. His stories often deal with sin, guilt, and the consequences of one's actions. The Snow Image And Other Twice-Told Tales is a perfect example of Hawthorne's unique style, and is a must-read for fans of classic American literature. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
