He examines the various factions involved and the negotiations that took place to bring about a resolution. The book also delves into the debates that occurred during the Council, focusing on issues such as the nature of the Trinity, the role of the Pope, and the use of icons in worship. In addition to its historical analysis, ""The History of the Council of Florence"" also provides a detailed account of the Council's impact on the Church and the wider world.
