Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Socialism and the Ethics of Jesus is a book written by Henry C. Vedder that explores the relationship between socialism and the teachings of Jesus Christ. The author argues that socialism, as a political and economic system, is consistent with the ethical principles and teachings of Jesus. Vedder examines the teachings of Jesus in the Gospels and shows how they relate to socialist ideals such as economic justice, equality, and the common good. He also critiques the capitalist system and its impact on society, arguing that it is incompatible with the teachings of Jesus. The book provides a thought-provoking analysis of the intersection of religion and politics, and challenges readers to consider the implications of their beliefs for social and economic justice. Overall, Socialism and the Ethics of Jesus is a compelling and insightful read for anyone interested in the relationship between religion and politics, and the role of socialism in promoting a more just and equitable society. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
