Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Walter McElvain was drafted into the Army, assigned to the 44th Infantry Division, and sent to the European Front. Before his young life ended, he left a legacy of letters he wrote to his wife and parents. The letters tell the impact that World War II had on an average American family, the hardships they endured, and the sacrifices they made. It is a personal story, a war story, and a love story.
