Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Have you ever gone all out to do the best you possibly could only to mess it up royally in front of everyone? In "Dustin Devine's Moment to Shine", Dustin gives it all he's got to impress his coach and fans playing football only to make an embarrassing mistake. He comes out the hero due to an understanding coach who knows that it's the person, and not winning the game at all costs that counts in life. Bill Bennett character values like teamwork and building up self-esteem are highlighted in an easy to read Dr. Seuss type rhyme scheme that is guaranteed to help build good values in young children's development. Dedicated to real people the author has worked with in school; this book is also designed to help build children's vocabulary skills in benchmark learning. Also, hidden in one of the illustrations is Sharon Wu, the illustrator's, signature. Can you find it? One illustration is just not quite right. Can you identify it and tell why it's not quite right in the story? The answer is on the last page of the story.
