""A Dissertation On The Marriage Of A Man With His Sister In Law"" is a book written by John Henry Livingston in 1816. The book explores the topic of whether it is permissible for a man to marry his sister-in-law, which was a controversial issue at the time. Livingston examines the biblical, legal, and moral arguments for and against such a marriage, drawing on both historical and contemporary sources. He also considers the social and familial implications of such a union, and provides examples of cases where it has been allowed or prohibited. The book is a comprehensive study of a complex and sensitive subject, and provides valuable insights into the cultural and social attitudes of the time. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
