Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""A Letter To Robert Hibbert, Junior, In Reply To His Pamphlet"" is a book written by Thomas Cooper in 1824. The book is a response to a pamphlet written by Robert Hibbert, Junior, which discussed the treatment of slaves in the British colonies. Cooper, a political activist and writer, critiques Hibbert's arguments and defends the abolitionist movement. He argues that slavery is immoral and that the British government has a responsibility to end it. Cooper also addresses the economic arguments made by Hibbert and argues that the abolition of slavery would not harm the British economy. The book provides a detailed analysis of the arguments for and against slavery in the early 19th century and is an important historical document in the fight against slavery. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
