Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

""A Plea For Reflectors: Being A Description Of The New Astronomical Telescopes With Silvered-Glass Specula (1876)"" is a book written by John Browning. It provides a detailed description of the new astronomical telescopes that use silvered-glass specula. The book is a plea for the use of reflectors in astronomy as opposed to refractors. The book covers the history of reflectors, their design, and construction, as well as their use in astronomical observations. It also includes illustrations and diagrams to help readers understand the technical details of reflectors. The book is a valuable resource for astronomers, telescope makers, and anyone interested in the history and technology of telescopes. And Instructions For Adjusting And Using Them. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
