Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

A Student In Arms is a memoir written by Donald William Hankey, originally published in 1917. The book is a first-hand account of Hankey's experiences as a British soldier during World War I. Hankey was a student at Oxford University when he decided to join the army in 1914. The book chronicles his journey from being a naive and idealistic young man to a battle-hardened soldier. Hankey writes about his experiences in the trenches, his interactions with fellow soldiers, and the horrors of war. He also reflects on the impact of war on society and the changes it brought about. A Student In Arms is considered a classic work of war literature and provides a unique perspective on the First World War.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
