Kurzbeschreibung des Verlags

Gospel And Epistle Hymns For The Christian Year is a book of hymns compiled by John Anketell in 1889. The book contains a collection of hymns that are specifically chosen to correspond with the Gospel and Epistle readings for each Sunday of the Christian year. The Christian year is a liturgical calendar used by many Christian denominations that divides the year into seasons and commemorates different events in the life of Jesus Christ. Each hymn in the book is accompanied by the corresponding Gospel or Epistle reading, as well as a brief explanation of the reading and its significance. The hymns themselves are traditional Christian hymns, many of which have been sung for centuries, and they cover a wide range of themes, including love, redemption, and faith.Overall, Gospel And Epistle Hymns For The Christian Year is a valuable resource for Christian worship services and personal devotions, providing a meaningful and relevant connection between the scripture readings and the hymns sung during worship. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
